Description

  1. Develop security design documentation and/or project plans for new or remodel facilities.
  2. Participate in and work with other departments for joint project planning and implementation.
  3. Review and correct invoices and coordinate work with the vendor(s).
  4. Maintain list of expenditures and invoices to determine overall costs.
  5. Schedule, monitor and follow up on all security work orders.
  6. Advise Branch Managers and Assistants that a specified vendor will be on site to perform service work activities.
  7. Initiate Maximo and Service Now Requests.
  8. Maintain and scheduled maintenance on all security equipment.
  9. Maintain security equipment inventory.
  10. Schedule, conduct and write physical security audits.
  11. Manage, inventory and schedule all work for security keyways.
  12. Develop and deliver status reports on assigned activities.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Education: Associate Degree in Business, Project Management, Physical Security or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Seven years of experience in security project and systems planning field, corporate security planning and organizing.
Experience/Skills: Security project management required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively and be able to remain calm and react appropriately in an emergency. Strong written communication skills and proficiency in end user computer technologies required. This position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment and random drug testing.
Tenure: Assignment to the Security Projects & Systems Specialist I category 11, Security Projects & Systems Specialist II category 10, or Security Projects & Systems Specialist III category 9 will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.
