- Duke University Quality and Safety in Womens Health Fellowship
Description
The Duke University Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology’s one-year fellowship program in Quality and Safety in Women’s Health is the first of its kind in the country; Duke Ob/Gyn trained its first fellow during the 2022-23 academic year. The program's goal is to train obstetrician/gynecologists and subspecialists to improve health care through an understanding of the principles, design, and conduct of quality improvement (QI) and patient safety initiatives.
The application for the 2025-2026 fellowship cycle will close on October 31, 2025, at noon EST. Applications received after this time will not be considered by the selection committee.
Interviews are held in November and December for an August 1 start date the following year.

Requirements
Qualifications to Apply:
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the start of the fellowship
- ABOG Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Demonstrated interest in quality improvement, patient safety, and/or health systems leadership
