A leading financial institution is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to oversee the development of a mission-critical trading platform. This role is open to candidates to be based in Hong Kong or Sydney.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction across system architecture, design, and delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers.
• Partner with traders, quantitative researchers, and global technology colleagues to build solutions that enable complex trading strategies.
• Drive enhancements in performance, scalability, and stability of real-time systems.

Desired Skills

• Strong track record leading engineering teams within financial services or similarly complex, real-time technical environments.
• Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and performance-critical application
• Proficiency in C# or Java

Business Knowledge

• Understanding of derivatives or capital markets technology.
