Description
Job Summary
Develop, manage, and expand commercial banking relationships by providing lending, deposit, and treasury service solutions to business clients. Identify new business opportunities, maintain a portfolio of commercial customers, structure loan requests, and deliver financial solutions that meet client needs. Collaborate with internal teams to support loan origination, underwriting, and relationship management while ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain commercial banking relationships with business clients.
Generate new commercial loan and deposit opportunities.
Achieve assigned production and portfolio growth goals.
Generate non-interest income through referrals to banking and financial service partners.
Build, retain, and expand customer relationships through proactive business development activities.
Maintain and manage a pipeline of prospects and existing client accounts.
Structure commercial loan requests and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Collaborate with credit teams on underwriting, documentation, and loan approvals.
Monitor portfolio performance and relationship profitability.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding financial and banking needs.
Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities for additional banking products and services.
Participate in community outreach, networking, and business development events.
Complete required training and professional development activities.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience in commercial banking, business banking, or relationship management.
Knowledge of commercial loan origination, underwriting, documentation, and treasury services.
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with banking systems and business software applications.
Ability to travel as required.
