$10,000 sign-on bonus + up to $5,000 relocation assistance available
CT Technologists at MUSC play a critical role in capturing detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon counting CT in South Carolina. As a CT technologist at MUSC, you will be aiding in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions, collaborating closely with other care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.
Compensation & Incentives
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000
- Relocation assistance: Up to $5,000 for eligible candidates
- Shift Differentials: up to $5.30 per hr (depending on shift)
- Additional pay: (call pay, overtime etc.)
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Days, Overnights, Weekends
Responsibilities:
- Utilize all CT imaging resources to perform high-quality CT examinations.
- Provide CT imaging services for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation.
- Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols.
- Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinationsOperate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements
Required License Certification and Registration:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience.
Required Registration/Certification:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
- ARRT CT Registration must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
