Your Role:

The Global Design and Technology Team (GDT), a complex team within the Process Solution Value Stream, Value Chain Cell Culture (CC), requires a person to transform our costing process to a digital solution. The GDT is responsible for assimilating all network site costing elements and building the cost architecture for global costing based on key cost levers. The models are then translated to pricing based on the rules provided by our Franchise Marketing Business Partners. As most of the CC business is custom, costing is also highly customized with value add on features. This role will be pivotal to automation strategies and will be working with digital solutions within company data lake. The ideal person will be able to construct and optimize data pipeline codes using software tools like Python and/or SQL and be able to output reports using software tools like Tableau and/or Power BI.

Applicants must be located at the Daejeon, SK facility and should be flexible with their work hours to interact with other GDT team members as needed. This role is remote but may require some travel.

Who You Are:

• A person who is strategic and passionate about costing and the upstream business. Need demonstrated proficiencies in new technologies or software tools related to the role.
• A highly detailed person, able to regularly manage data and figures with the highest degree of accuracy.
• Possesses strong self-motivation and adaptability, able to work and deliver to daily timelines, and/or adjust to internal and external customer needs. Works well independently.
• Bachelor's degree or beyond in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Software Engineering.
• Multi-faceted experience doing a variety of projects using tools or similar tools defined above, with at least 4 years of relevant experience, experience beyond 5 plus years ideal.
• Strong communicator and able to quickly create PowerPoint presentations aim at targeted topics.
• Positive liaison with critical stakeholders while maintaining the guiding principals and requirements of the role, knows when to escalate topics to direct line of leadership.
• Competent in SAP and able to learn other company ERP systems for data extraction.
• Strong inquisition skills until understanding of data is achieved, and able to manipulate cost levers to determine which cost drivers need further escalation to help drive cost process improvements.
