Description
Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA): Will be responsible for design and development of internal State Street systems. Specific responsibilities of the position include: Involvement in application development, integration, and testing efforts to meet business requirements; Enabling Client to achieve their organizational goals by providing expertise in integrations involving Business Process Management (BPM); Responsibility to analyze user requirements, prototyping processes and designing and developed the business process flows according to business needs; Developing or directing software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation; Using the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems; Expanding or modifying system to serve new purposes or improve work flow; Modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance; Using the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems; Developing, documenting, and revising system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; Following domain driven design and Enable the Multifactor Authentication security controls and integrated the same with BPM platforms to promote Single sign on, basic authentication for rest services, SSL, authorization services etc.; working in Agile framework as an individual contributor, interaction with Business team in story grooming, reviewing story/acceptance criteria Coordinate with onsite team; Providing post-production support and maintenance; Testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems; Troubleshooting program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning; Using object-oriented programming languages, as well as client and server applications development processes and multimedia and Internet technology; Testing, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems; and Troubleshooting program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Must have: Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, plus 5 years of industry experience with Java, PL/SQL development, Messaging.
Must also have: Demonstrated solid ability in Java/J2EE; Demonstrated proficiency in developing application using Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful Web Services; Demonstrated experience in an Agile-based environment; Demonstrated experience with Kafka or similar message queue systems; Demonstrated proficiency in Database, Data Management and Database connectivity; Demonstrated solid ability designing and developing scalable, reliable and secure software architectures including Microservices, API’s and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm); Demonstrated expertise in Public Cloud (Azure and AWS) technologies; Proven strong knowledge in modern software development technologies and frameworks; Proven in-depth knowledge of the UNIX operating system [file system, storage, process monitoring] and ability to write scripts using UNIX utilities such as AWK, GREP, SED; and Demonstrated solid communication skills. Salary: $178,131 to $195,944 annually.
